Lianna and Eric got married at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona. The color theme was the royal blue and yellow, which matches the wedding theme of Disney Beauty and the Beast. The aisle of the ceremony was decorated with yellow flower with royal blue light yarn. Our happy couple uses LadyMarry to track their wedding timeline and keep everything on track.
Q: Any reason for you to choose Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park?
“We chose this venue because it was close to home and affordable for the amount of guests we were planning on having.”
Q: What’s the theme/colors of your wedding? Why do you choose it/them?
“The theme of our wedding was Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Our color theme matched with the royal blue and yellow color scheme. We chose this theme because I (the bride) grew up a dedicated Disney fan and Eric proposed at Disneyland in front of the Sleeping Beauty castle.”
Q: What’s your biggest challenge when planning a wedding?
“The biggest challenge was the seating chart! I spent days changing things around and finding new spots for last minute guests. I believe I had to change the seating chart five times.”
Q: Why did you choose LadyMarry when planning a wedding?
“I chose LadyMarry to help keep track of my wedding planning because it was easy to use and it kept me updated on things I needed to finish. It was a very helpful tool and kept me calm throughout the planning process. I always knew what to expect next, and it helped me decide on what to work on within a specific time frame.”
Q: Describe the best moment of your wedding
“The best moment of our wedding was during our vows. I made sure to keep the vows similar while writing them. However, I added a few words to mine. Eric is a huge Batman fan. His favorite movie is Batman Begins, and there was a quote in the movie that he would always recite to be silly. I had kept it a secret from our guests and Eric, but the very last line in my wedding vow was “It is not who I am underneath, but what I do, that defines me.” The look on his face was classic! Many of the guests (mainly the guys) approached Eric and me after and told him “I was a keeper.” They gave me kudos for including that line in our vows.”
Q: Any advice to brides-to-be?
“My biggest advice for future brides-to-be is- Do not be afraid to ask for help. Do not hesitate to ask the family to help you with the tiniest details, especially towards the end. I also recommend keeping a planning tool such as LadyMarry! It helped keep me organized, and it helped with worrying less.”
